Project: Web Site Design
The challenge behind this design was to try and capture the rough and improvational quality of the theater. To do this pictures were taken of the theater and used as textures for the design site. For example, the background texture of the site was taken from the curtains of the theater. The site structure and navigation were researched and implemented in a way to provide the user with the most efficient experience possible. To do this we categorized the site into a few main categories of user goals including those looking for tickets, those looking for directions and those looking make a financial contribution.
Steppenwolf Theater is a cultural landmark in Chicago with one of the most respected ensemble casts in America.
